Sand Blocks Levels 616-620: Five New Boards From 30 October 2026
Levels 616 through 620 of Sand Blocks: Drop Puzzle arrived on 30 October 2026, taking the archive to 620 boards. Previews and video solutions for all five, plus how to read the wider-gap layouts in this batch.
Levels 616 to 620 are live as of 30 October 2026
The site moved from 615 to 620 levels today. Every board in this batch sits in the Expert band, which is where the gaps between pits and the runs feeding them start to matter more than the number of colours on screen. Twenty more boards are queued for the runs ahead.
Each level has its own page with the board preview and the video solution. Jump straight to whichever one stopped you.
These notes describe how the new layouts work. The exact order of taps is in the video for each board, and copying a sequence from a different layout is usually what causes the first restart.

When the gap is wider than the pile
This batch leans on distance. A colour can be plentiful and still useless if nothing carries it across a wide floor, so the first useful look at a new board is the pairing between each pit and the run that can actually reach it, measured in tiles rather than in colours.
What tends to decide these boards:
- A long horizontal floor drains in one direction only once. Sand crossing open ground spreads thin, and the first pass that reaches the far pit leaves a film behind. Any colour that needs that floor later will find it too shallow to travel.
- Pits on the outer edge are cheaper than they look. They collect from a narrower band of columns, so filling them early frees the middle of the grid for the colours that have nowhere else to go.
- Two same-colour pits near each other are one decision. Treat them as a single sink with double capacity, then ask whether the supply above can cover both before the timer becomes relevant.
When a colour stops reaching any pit, the board has already failed even though the clock is still counting. A restart that opens with a different colour is cheaper than chasing a route that no longer carries sand. The videos above show what an opening looks like when the distance has been accounted for.
Level 621 is next in line and gets the same treatment once it publishes: one page, one preview, one video solution.
